I think it's really cool to have a birthday on Labor day. You can have cake and BBQ at the same time. On top of that you can have a back yard party or a gathering in the park. The best part is you can be sure that people actually show up to your party because they won't be busy on Monday!
I wrote about baby Dannielynn's First Birthday the other day. If you're also planning for your baby's first birthday there are great resources online that you can check out. Articles on Babys will give you a quick overview of your little one's first birthday celebration. You should also check out the Berkeley Parent's Network's First Birthday Party Planning and Maternity Corner's Quick First Birthday Party. I also found out a bit on Life in Korea and How they celebrate the First Birthday (they break it into months!) Life in Korea - How they celebrate the First Birthday. If you're an aunt, uncle, or a cousin who can't be there on the first birthday party you can always send first birthday ecards and MySpace comments! Here's one that you can check out --
There's nothing like a Sweet 16th Birthday. It's like getting to the next stage in life where you can still play around but you're old enough to just roam around with your buddies. And of course you have to make it a memorable event by planning your 16th birthday party the right way. You should check out the 16th Birthday Party Ideas and an article on How to celebrate 16th Birthday to help you get birthday party ideas.
Sometimes a great selection of MySpace Birthday graphics, images and photo comment codes are really hard to find. We know the usual MySpace comment code places but what about if you're looking for just birthday comments and codes?
To save you the trouble of sifting through all those MySpace comment code sites I've compiled a list of site (and links) that you can just click through and get to the birthday comment myspace sections. Here's the list:
Sean Penn's birthday is today! He's one of my favorite actors -- I mean, only he can do and say the things that he does. I don't think there's a more versatile and dynamic actor than him.
Here's a classic footage of Sean Penn from Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Come to think of it, Sean Penn is still hard headed as ever. But that's why we admire him.
His birthday is shared by two up and coming brilliant actors whom I'm really looking forward to follow their careers and seeing their movies often. One of them is Rachel Hurd-Wood. You might remember her from that spine chilling film, American Haunting. She acted as Betsy Bell. The other actor Colin Bates -- also an acclaimed actor -- played in Billy Elliot the Musical as Billy on West End. He already enjoys the title of being the first American to play Billy on the West End. He was also in The Good Shepard but his scene landed up in the cutting room floor. You can see it on the DVD though. Rachel and Colin are both turning 17 today.
There's nothing like the sweet 16th birthday. You're still a teenager and you're not so old and no need to take so much of responsibilities. It's time to just party. And oh, you can drive! Finally freedom.
